Recently, the server's been having high load, which causes a LOT of crashing. It's bearable, but the windows of time in between crashes usually don't allow time for the properties you buy to pay themselves off. Would it be possible for the server to write to a file every set amount of time, say 10 minutes,
Then, when the gamemode restarts, have it read what it wrote and pay back what the user owned in props. Would this be too much to store on a server?
Note that it would be as if the user /sell'd all of his/her props before the crash.
Also note that the file would be overwritten every set amount of time, so there would only be one file, not a large library.
Also also note that only registered users would have this feature, as data is stored by login name and not IP.
- All the online registered players
- The values of each registered player's props
