I was apparently banned for 'money cheat' in December of last year so TEF informed me, I have just got back into the game in the last few weeks sitting in IRC helping people and playing in game.

He told me there was no room for negotiations and I was banned for life. Now if this is the case that I am banned for 10 seconds of stupidity 9 months ago, then so be it. But it would be sad to wave goodbye to the place over something like that, when i was new to the game.
