What ever happened to Badeends Map

I can't remember where it was because I haven't played in ages but I've tried googling and all that but have yielded no results. Did yous hide it away or is it just not available anymore.

It's not available anymore due to it defeating the point of properties entirely. If the map were still here, every hidden property would be exposed, thereby making property hunting nonexistent. (Not to mention how extraordinarily boring buying properties would become.) For example, my property moves every week and is always hidden behind a wall. What help do players receive? A subtle hint or riddle to the whereabouts of the property. This requires players to search vigorously in order to find it. Now if this map were put back into place, everyone would know the general location of my property and (again) defeat the purpose of property hunting. If you're really desperate for money, just buy a permit and go gamble. It's far easier and you'll earn a lot more.


Oh, and please search before posting, as this question has been asked before.

Nice, their have been some discussions regarding this map. Some crew members (f.e. TEF in this case) report that the map won't be given a new life, and some crew members (like Jay in this case ) report that the map is coming back.

So, Badeend's 1337 map will come back ?

Well, the map will exclude the secret properties as far as I know. (But yeah, it's still pretty lame in my opinion.)

I think that is a valid complaint. Maybe it could be changed to only show the default properties, like casino's, shops and food places. Properties could have an additional flag making it hidden (hidden by default if a new one is created). I think at this moment every property is shown.

I think i agree, i myself hate hunting for prop's but if everyone could just search up the map, then the props i know and use would become utterly useless and over used. It'll be like "[BB]TouchmE has bought twilights blah blah" 10 minutes later
"map reading dickface has bought twilights blah blah".

it'll be annoying so i'll stick with asking friends where the props are
