Can somebody please explain why this wasn't used?
Fight Club pickups remain type 2, respawning every min or so.
The Ship health pickup remain the same too.
The pickups near the ship, the two armour and one health to be type 15.
The gang base pickups to remain the same.
The health and armour pickups near the noob spawn point to be type 15.
That way, players will only be able to use 1 pickup once per life. To refil, they either must goto the ship, FightClub, Ammunation or the vending machines.
The other pickups like in SF and the desert are fine the way they are, since they're not in popular DM zones.
One of the lamest parts of LVP, is the fact people are able to refill in fights every 30 - 60 seconds... It makes the whole DM part pointless in some ways.
At the moment, fights are based on who refills the most. Someone is shooting at another player, and the other play shoots back. If they hit them and cause a lot of damage, immediatly the first one shooting runs to refill and start shooting again.
Theres gonna be endless refilling unless the above is used.
With the above suggestion, people will then have to rely more on fighting skill, and choose when to use the pickup rather than taking it for granted.
They'll also have to use ammunation, or the shops to refill. Or the fight club. But thats where most of the laming is, in the refilling.
If someone gets scared in a fight, they run around like a headless chicken, or hide in an interior. Then they have passed the time limit for teleporting or taxing, so they can /taxi /tp or /world away and a refill will be outside waiting for them.
I just dont see any sense in DM if people are gonna be able to refill when they panic.
I was pretty sure it would be used in this update, since i'd spoken to a couple admins, and a lot of players. And all of them like the idea.
