ping problem

nope my internet work perfect only when i play gta sa mp my ping is to high :s i tryed today and still over 800

Are there any other computers in your house, which use the same internet connection - Such as a brother, sister or parent's computer? If so, maybe they're downloading or uploading something. If not, then its possible its just where you live. I live in the middle of the french countryside, and I usually get around 200 ping on every server I visit. That's just the crappy telephone lines in my area. Although, I doubt it would go as high as 800 though, if this was the case with you're ping.

If you're internet is slow, you get high ping on every server and you're sure no one using your connection is downloading/uploading, I would suggest calling your ISP and yelling at them asking them what the problem is.


But this topic is a few days old, so I don't know if you've fixed this problem or not.
