Where it all begins..

Accidentally finding SA:MP

Well, I first seen SA:MP on google when I was searching for GTA SA cheats hehe (in like October 07) and a couple of sites came up about SA:MP. I was like wtf is SA:MP?? So I checked it out, downloaded the client and I was completely new to computers then since I have never had my own at that point, just got one a month earlier (Just use to fuck around on other peoples computers) and have never played any computer games that required you to find servers and connect to them. So I spent a good 30 mins trying to figure it out and couldn't, due to my lack of computer knowledge, so I just deleted it and moved on.

Discovering LVP

About 7 months later (By this time I learned how to work a computer completely) I found the downloaded client I had, and reinstalled SA:MP. I found Game-Monitor.com and searched for servers with the most people in them, and boom, found LVP. At this point I was a complete n00b and didn't know shit about the server. I joined with the name TKRIDER17, and it seemed pretty cool, except since I was a noob I was getting raped by almost every clan (Mostly BA at the time). So I just tried my best to stay away from fights and just basically drove around stunting and such. I seen someone spawn a ramp and instantly yelled "CHEATER!" I met this guy named TriggerHappy and he helped me so much, explained to me that it was a feature not cheats.

n00b

So he taught me all the basics of LVP, props, rules, and a bunch of other shit. We hung out a lot, actually every time I was on, we we're kickin' it. Then just out of no where he went inactive. At that point I had to learn the rest on my own. I just kind of laid low and observed the way all the players fought. I had no idea what lag, fps, hitbox, or lead-aim was. I just heard these terms constantly, I didn't even know what noob meant.

Swift Riders

So I kind of caught on to the whole clan thing. Get members and run around in a group killing people (My only knowledge of a clan at the time). So I decided to make a clan called the Swift Riders. I had one member guaranteed, TaPoUt (At the time he was SWIFTRIDER2 and I was SWIFTRIDER1) and had no idea what to do, we just went around making money and fucking around. Later on I figured "hmmm, everyone else that is in a clan has a tag." and decided to convert to [SR]. Then we were [SR][1]TeEjAy, and [SR][2]TaPoUt. After a while it got kind of boring with 2 members, so we decided to recruit some members. [sr][3]robert was our first recruit and just as noobish as us, a little later we found [SR][4]wattzie and [SR][5]Piotrbaz. This clan went on from about July 20th to September 7th and died out because I desperately needed training and wasn't prepared to lead any clan.

Solo

So I went Solo for a short time just training and learning something new everyday. I met a lot of cool people which trained me a little bit here and there. Erin first taught me how to lead-aim and explained to me what a hitbox was. Agent and Funky trained me and TaPoUt a couple of times and taught us many running techniques and how to switch weapons properly. I trained a lot by myself (even went in GTA SA single player and just would murder everyone, somehow I thought it would help) and tried my hardest to be a skilled player. I encountered a lot of BA members which I fought and wasn't completely pwned, but still pwned. I use to hang around them as much as I could, but some of the members were all about killing anyone they didn't know. Carcass wouldn't shoot me (sometimes), Funky wouldn't, Agent and Blood_Bukak wouldn't. The one that seemed to hate me was Arno. Always killing me and saying, "You feelin fresh today tj?" hahah, i lol'd. My respect for this clan and its members was great. I wanted to be a cl0wn, but knew I wasn't skilled enough.

Soul Killers

By October 08 I was up-to-date shooting wise, not overall developed though. I met a guy named Sanquentin which was clanless at the time. Me and him would pwn noobs all the time and just have fun. He disappeared for a while and next thing you know he's back with an [sK] tag. During that time I'd see all kinds of sK on just swarming killing noobs (Which I was really drawn to). Sanquentin also nagged me constantly, "Join sK man cmon, JOIN!" I wasn't easily persuaded at first, but after a while I applied and got accepted an hour later. I had a very good feeling because I was never actually in a clan with more than 5 members. I liked having a bunch of skilled fighters around me, it felt good. I started reading up all kinds of shit from past posts, figured out who was who (since a lot of people had different names a while back) and started seeing shit I didn't like. Then sK started to get so inactive to the point where it was just me and Nater playing on LVP. I was sick of this shit and started to question why I was even in this shitty clan. So I left.

True skill

I started looking at the game as a science, and learned everything that there was to know about it, even the bugs. My skills were ok, but I was still getting pwned by the older members and clans. I had to get better, so I trained even harder, even learned to script, made my own server and TJ's Training/DM 1.0 was born. At this point my scripting skills weren't all that great but they developed pretty fast. I then started hanging around Blood_Bukak and this guy had skills, no... True skills. He then taught me quite a few tips and tricks, even more/better running styles, and a better understanding of the hitbox. I took what he taught me and kind of developed my own style, and then.. I was skilled.. enough to where Blood told me to apply for B&A.

PwN

I then thought of a very good name for a clan, and since I was skilled I thought hey, I can recruit people with undeveloped skill and train them with the knowledge I have picked up on my journey. It wasn't that easy though, even though I learned everything about how a clan is ran, how it works, and almost everything about one. My clan name was Power Without Necessity [PwN], an awesome tag and a meaningful name. I thought it was sure to be a hit. Later I realized that mostly all the players with even a small amount of skill were already in clans, I closed down PwN just after 1 month.

B&A

The day I closed down PwN, I talked to Darkfire on IRC, telling him that I'm thinking about applying for B&A. He thought it was a good idea, so I asked him if he wanted to do some duels on my server, he accepted and we went. We did about 6-7 duels, he complimented me on my skills and said I have his +1. I was happy, so applied for B&A, went through quite a few duels with the members of B&A and got +1 from everyone. I was really happy, 2 days later I was accepted as a Trial, that lasted about a month. And now, to this day, I am a full cl0wn and I truly don't see myself leaving this clan, no matter how inactive we are.

*UPDATE: A mass leaving occurred, due to some careless leadership.

uL

So I applied to this new clan straight out of BA basically, they didn't accept me at first, they actually denied me, then said the deny was a misunderstanding, so I continued the trial for about 2 more days and was accepted. A problem happened between me and someone in the clan, leading to me realizing I wasn't fit for it, and just couldn't be in a clan with someone I didn't get a long with, so I decided to leave. I've had my eye on a clan, very known, SaW. I actually had a tryout with DCreations so long ago when I first started, but I sucked ass then. Now I've applied for SaW, and hope I can get in, very lay-back crew, that really doesn't give a shit, I like that.

*UPDATE: Turns out SaW isn't really looking for more members, basically got denied, but it's all good.

I doubt most of you read this, but for those who did, I hope you enjoyed my SA:MP story. :)
