Extra rule for the gangsection
#1
Hello gangmembers,

as of today, you can put a list of people which are NOT allowed to post in your gangtopic.
We have decided to put this in to prevent flaming and such.

If someone on the do-not-post list does post in your topic, report the post. Do NOT retaliate in their gang topic; doing this will result in a mute, whose length depends on the content of the retaliation or reply.

If you post in a topic in which you are not allowed to post in, you will be warned if it is your first time.
If you repeat this in the same, or another gangtopic, you will be warned again. If you do this for a third time you will be muted for a week.
If this continues even after a mute, the mute will be extended by a week everytime.

If someone flames or provokes someone in a topic in which they cannot reply, report it so it can be deleted. This will also mean the person flaming / provoking will be warned.

You may be muted earlier. The times of muting may vary depending on the posts made.
This is in the discretion of the forum administrator.

You get automatically muted when we raise your warninglevel to 60%.
The first warning gives you 10% more. The second 20% and the last 30%. Those together will get you muted(60% = mute). However, if you already had a warninglevel, it will be earlier.

You can't exclude crewmembers from the topics.

If you have any questions, post them here and I'll gladly answer them.

On behalf of the LVP Forum Crew,

What if someone decides to put an entire gang/clan on the do-not-post list?

It is not allowed to be used excessively. If someone does this, report the post and they will be contacted by us.

It would be much better if Badeend could take some time to create something in php to disable certain players from posting in topics altogether. The system you've got here just sucks and will only lead to the majority of the active forum being muted, in my opinion. But when has my opinion meant anything? :+

If it were that easy, I'm sure it would have been done.

We're willing to devote time to it, and if the majority of members get muted, so be it.
