Getting rid of pickups for people who've recently been in a fight

This is a suggestion to get rid of health and armour pickups for people who've recently been in a fight. "Refilling" in a fight is lame and pointless imo.

Then again we have the problem of people who just had a fair fight, and there are a few more coming. You should be able to refill.
Or say in FC, you just had a 1v1, you won, you're down on your health, but can't refill due to this?

Very true. My response to that would be: Life ain't always fair, sa-mp ain't always fair, but that's part of the fun. Basically I think the benefits of getting rid of refillers would outweigh not being able to refill when your enemie's back up arrives.

Another point in favour of my idea is that such pickups break immersion. Since when do you find first aid kits and body armours spontaneously generating on street corners?

Or a compromise: get rid of the pickups near the ship, that way you avoid the endless repetition of fighting near the ship's pickups and refilling.

Not everything should be like in real, lol.

I rather keep them, just kill your enemy before he gets away. We can't go and forbid everything that could keep people alive. It's not only deathmatch, not everyone is always up for fighting.

And since when is this like real life? I mean, the game's designed to be more realistic then the last version, but you can overdo it.. Pickups always been apart of the GTA versions. Or at least since I play them, GTA III.
Anyway, that's not the point. It should not be overdone. It's fine as it is.

Maybe you mean that you are quite stats horny? :P

But regardless: I don't think that argument makes much sense. Stats are relevant only in relation to other stats. Since everybody would be playing under the same rules... it wouldn't make a difference in terms of stats. And also personally I don't care about stats. :P Your kill death ratio tells very little about skill in this game, because you can easily farm noobs all day and get awesome ratios, but someone with more skill would fight with gangs only and get killed more...

Suggestion: please could you put this in "open for discussion"? That way we could really see what most people think about the idea. Might be interesting.

If you can't kill your opponent before he refills then tough luck, learn to shoot. This may contradict what I said before, but I really don't see a possible function to detect refillers in a legit way.
