MTA vs SA:MP

If anyone of you tried the newest version of MTA, they would know that at this point it is better than SA:MP. Also, when the official release of MTA comes out, I won't be surprised if at least half of SA:MP's players move to MTA.

Hmmm, I need to test it more but I went on recently and it was good. Except I only found one server that was a nice mode, and then that server went offline... So I didn't bother trying again.

Also if you google 'gta "san andreas" multiplayer' and SA-MP is by far the most salient hit. Until that changes and MTA do more advertising SA-MP will probably be more popular than MTA.

imo if ppl wanted to move onto MTA they would of done so already (It's been out longer than a year).
At the end of the day people are content with SA:MP,i'm sure as hell fine with it and don't care about minor little pointless additions that will most likely pile bugs on top of each other (Custom maps is a good example,try playing on one atm and it's like your on rollerskates,seems they fixed that for now though)
I also fail to see how all of a sudden 3,400 ppl (half of 6,800,SA:MP's current playing figure) will just go and move to mta when 1.0 comes out,it ain't gonna happen.

MTA even stole a SA-MP gamemode once. That one with the trucks, where you got to steal the other team's truck and take it back to your base. I remember being in MTA Beta Team and testing that gamemode, and everyone knew it was from SA-MP.
