[Suggestion] Less harsh debt punishment?
#1
For new players like me its not easy to make money. And sometimes we do stupid things like borrow half a million and then get pwned by the large interest rate (10% a minute or so?), or gamble ourselves into a million dollar debt... (not everyone finds buying properties fun).

And once you have a million dollars debt it seems impossible to pay it back... The only way it seems possible is to beg for cash but that is annoying for everyone involved and will only work if you are lucky.

My suggestions concerning debt:

1 - Reduce the interest rate on borrowed money to something more manageable like say... 1% per minute... (instead of 10%...)

2 - Make it so that if you have say <= -$500,000 and you don't have any money in an account or in properties, you can file for bankruptcy and get that ammount you filed for paid off after half an hour, with the condition that you cannot /borrow or file for bankruptcy again for 10 played game hours.

Why should you care? Well, new players like me may well stop playing if they have a debt they can never pay off.

First off, if you get declared bankrupt(yes, that's already in the gamemode), your money is reset and you're put in jail for a few minutes.

1. The interest is done via a property, being the Frisia property. The owner can set the interestrate.

2. I think it's with 1 million debt or so now, not sure what the exact amount is. See above what happens. 10 hours without borrowing is quite long, imo. And, I personally think it's fine the way it is. You don't have to buy lots of properties(you can only buy 3 in the start anyway) to make money of them. So you don't really have to go on a prophunt(as you said, not everyone likes doing that).

Ahh, OK, that's sweet. What is the command for declaring bankruptcy please?

There's no command. Well, there is, but that's for admins :P
You can't declare yourself bankrupt of course. But if you get in debt enough, you'll be jailed and it should reset.

If you get into big trouble, just use '@can you reset my debt please?'
