If you liked "The Wire", then you might enjoy "The Corner" too - a HBO miniseries taking place in the streets of West Baltimore focusing strictly on the lives of the dope fiends. Based on true stories. Not as good as The Wire, but pretty hardcore nonetheless. Some of the cast is same as in "The Wire".
