Ping Limit

Everyday on the server I see people with very high ping's, also in the chat I see people complain about others high ping's, I've seen ping's well over 500 on numerous times, what I'm suggesting is that is there anyway you can someone set a ping limit to the server?

I know people get kicked for high ping's but I'm sure its the admins that do it themselves?

I guess we don't want automated kicks.
They suck, and when you log in your ping is always high.
And the number of people with an extreme high ping are very rare.

I heard today limit is 500 so they'll get kicked if they see it

Well, normally if the ping is higher then 500 for a longer period of time, we notify and kick the player for high ping.
But the last two days with the massive lag I've been a little bit softer, but still 800 is to much

Ok, I didn't realise when you first login your ping goes high, thought I'd still bring this subject up though

Erm, the limit we try to use is 500, but obviously this changes depending on the server situation.

I believe a autokick is not in order though. Sometimes there's a wave of high pings, when a big database action is done, for example.

Admins can decide whether to kick a laggy player, there is no auto-kick needed.
