Complains about TEF

Hey there, i have some complains about TEF. He is being completely unreasonable and really immature for an admin i think. For example: A couple of minutes ago i was on the server. He is constantly telling everyone not to use caps, but 5 seconds later he starts typing the whole lyric of barbiegirl in caps. (and he keeps on using caps all the time) Also i told him to be a bit more reasonable sometimes, and because of that i get a kick...i keep on getting kicked by this guy. Wether i have a question that is annoying him or if i try to explain myself.. Isnt this server about having fun? Fun also means:

-Let admins give the right example (so not talking in caps all the time and telling people not to
-Listen to people explain themselves before you immediately kick them

Im really tired so its a bit harder to explain myself in english (im dutch) but it really takes the fun away for me if this server has admins like him. Most of the other guys are totally cool, but TEF is really authoritarian in a negative unfriendly way i think..

Im sorry for all the whining, but it is a bit frustrating.

Now, not only is this extremely disrespectful, but it's also quite arrogant. Your attitude suggests that you are above everyone else simply because you donated a few bucks to Las Venturas Playground. Oh, and by the way, you decided to give LVP that money. You were never forced to pay in order to play on this server (not to mention this entire modification). Donations are quite irrelevent when dealing with absolutely any in-game rules. You are not above anyone, so I expect you to never act like you are again.

Moving on, though, let me inform you of what really happened with the CAPS situation. I use CAPS all the time, so there's very little point in denying this. However, when someone uses them repeatedly for over ten lines of text—almost as if they have their CAPS LOCK key switched on—I'll politely inform them of this and ask them to be wary of how they type. I would never—and I want to be very clear on this—tell someone to not use CAPS unless they're using an excessive amount of them. It would make me a hypocrite, and that's something I never want to be. You say that you told me "to be a bit more reasonable sometimes." Now, I would be fine with you suggesting something to me about my moderation technique, but that's not what you were doing. What you were doing is what I described in the first part of my response to you: You were being arrogant about how you "paid" to play, so therefore you "expect admins to not immediately kick ... but also be reasonable." Players never see a kick as a warning, but that's what it truly is. The kick is to inform you that if you keep up your behavior, a ban will soon be what comes of it. The first time I kicked you, I did so because I announced to the entire server that the chases were over and the next to ask about them would be kicked. You then decided to ask about a chase and, along with a few others, were kicked for it:

For what it's worth, I believed you about not seeing the screen, but you definitely could have been a bit less presumptuous about not receiving a warning. Again, the kick serves as a warning, and it was made clear with the two announcements that players who asked about the chase would be kicked. Rolf, the chat showed two announcements and a kick, all about not asking about another chase, before you decided to ask. I mean, I find it a bit hard to believe that you can gather all of this information about my moderation, and yet seldom look at the main chat. I personally don't see how one can miss two huge announcements and a kick, but I'll still trust you.

Although I find this complaint to be completely ill-founded, I do agree on one thing, and that's the fact that not once did I have a private conversation with you to discuss why your behavior was not appropriate. I simply kicked you. Now that's something that I'm generally quite good with, but what irked me to the point of forgetting to PM you was your arrogant attitude. You have got to try to be a little less expecting; it's just a gaming server, Rolf, and nothing more (but nothing less).

I believe that I've explained everything to you, however there's always the possibility that I've missed something. If you find that I've missed anything or want me to explain a bit further on something, please post back so I can properly do so.

I totally understand what you mean, but i didnt mean it in a disrespectful way and definitely not arrogant. What i was trying to say (wich you cant see in this conversation)  was also based on other situations i already had with TEF. He is not willing to talk and he doesnt let me explain things. He takes everything in a bad way and kicks u immediately. Yes a kick is a warning, but isnt it even more rude to just kick someone without letting him explain? Cuz all of my kicks from him were based on different opinions between both of us, and if i want to say something back he just kicks me..wich is in my eyes disrespectful and arrogant. also the last post:

between my last sentence and the was also another post from TEF, wich he didnt put in here..That is in my opinion also not too nice because my '' was a reaction on a smiley he posted on the server after i sad im sorry. instead of accepting my apologies he gave me a emoticon wich looked kinda sarcastic. So the was because i thought that it was immature for an admin not to accept my apologies.

Im having a lot of fun on the server, and i like to keep it that way. But I also think I have the freedom of speech as long if im not insulting people etc...wich I didnt and never did before..
