I've been around for a good bit, I dont really play SA-MP anymore because its lost its touch, that and not many oldschool players are around anymore which means there's nothing interesting to do, the whole clan war scene etc has practically died, thats partly because this community now doesn't like controversy, it just censor's everything and act's like its all fine, which is the biggest reason most of the clan's around these days just talk bullshit, because they get away with it.

I can confidently say that back in 2006/2007 was definitely the best years SA-MP had, and roughly since around 0.2 being released it went down hill.

History:

I started of in a clan called [SMITH] which only people who have been around aslong as I have will know.  It went threw along period of shit with the Warriors, at the time it was annoying but It was probably the most enjoyable time I spent in SA-MP.

I later then joined [NB].  I had joined as soon as it was made by blaZed & s99 as he was then.  I also managed Pen1 for a while, back when it was the only server of its kind, I fucked that up and decided I should release the script because some pricks decided they would steal the amx file.

After NB I went through a very gay stage joining clans like CP, KFC, MW etc, then I decided to join SiN as I knew alot of people in the clan who had also been around aslong as I had, it had a few pretty decent guys, Ghost, HaZe & Gunso were probably the best players at the time, SiN unfortunately died but did leave a legacy behind it holding its own against clans such as [W] & [NB] they were also good times.

Then I stopped playing.  I decided that id apply for [BA] because playing LVP while in SiN I had noticed [BA] were a far superior clan to any other in LVP.  And here I am, A burn out oldschool player as im sure some would call me, fuck the some I dont care I know what SA-MP was like for people like me in the oldschool days and half the idiots around these days wouldn't have lasted a week until they had resorted to cheating or some shit.

SA-MP will never be the same again, its a shadow of its former self, though the oldschool days shall always be remembered by people that matter.

Nice intro RyanKilla, and yes it's not as great as it used to be. I'm not old-skool like you lot, been around since mid-May last year and it's not all that fun as when I started. Not many clan wars on LVP at the gang base or anything. Only clans now are mostly full of runners and fail within a week.

Lately Running Weapon wars have died out, AAD ( Walkies ) is still there, but neither are as strong as they were before. I wasn't purely a DM'er in 07, so don't know about that, but even April,May,June, and a bit of July were filled with MUCH more action then now.
