Finally it's ready, the release of San Andreas: Multiplayer 0.2! After a lot of beta's, the final version has been released. In this new version of SA-MP a lot of bugs are fixed, and new features have been added. One of them: the Skater skin! SA-MP 0.2 offers the player the ability to spawn objects ingame, like what you can do in the MTA Map Editor.

A handy new feature in the new version of SA-MP is that you can spawn cars with a command. (In LVP, only admins will be able to do this!)

A couple of important fixed bugs:
- Rhino, RC Heli fixed. You can now succesfull shoot with it, cars will explode if you drive into them.
- It's possible to drive bug-free over people.
- Rocket Launcher, Sniper etc. are synced.
- Police sirenes are synced.
- It's not possible anymore to use any GTA:SA mods you've installed. You probably can't connect to the most servers.
- It is now possible to steer a train/tram, and be a passenger of them.

- Empty /pm or /msg causing a local crash now fixed
- New Rcon command: players, which shows the player's name and IP
- Fixed a crash where you enter a car mod shop in debug mode
- New scripting commands: GetPlayerPing, GetPlayerIP, and GetPlayerWeapon
- server_log.txt is flushed instantly, instead delayed
- server_log.txt is appended, instead of rewritten
