Bad admin/Good admin

Well, being an admin myself, I do not like to use the words "admin abuse". However, I cannot think of another way of putting this. I am new to GTA, and new to this server. Unfortuantely, I have had some problems with a particular moderator. Cyrix404. I was on the server, and used caps. I did not know that this was against the rules, as it was not listed in server rules when I read them. I would have appreciated an admin telling me it was an offense rather than simply igoring me. Furthermore, Double_rifle, my boyfriend, ended up having issues with his computer or connection, or whatever it is (its in the Ban Zone), and I was asking any of the admins to listen to what I had to say because we did not understand what was happening. Maybe one of the moderators can check the games log and paste the conversation for exact wording, but Cyrix would not listen to what I had to say. I felt as if he/she was disrespectful and rude to me. And cut me off saying he would not discuss bans in the main chat. I simply wanted someone to listen to the situation. I was rather disgruntled/discouraged when leaving the server because I felt he/she had not been a fair admin.  (Getting on my soap box: Admin should not be erragant and fly off the handle, but should be level  headed and maintain their composure)

I would like to leave this post on a positive note:
    A moderator named Raymond did listen to what I had to say. And he referred me to the forums. I believe this is how admin should be. Atleast this moderator had the curtesy to direct me to a place where double could post his problem. I truely appreciate him being a responsible moderator and am happy to see someone was helpful, because we really needed help, and wouldnt have known where to go otherwise. Thank you for being a curteous admin Raymond.

Hi,

I haven't read the logs yet, but, judging from your post, I'd somewhat do the same.
It can be very busy ingame, meaning we don't have that for 'small' issues like these. We constantly see rule-breakers, get reports about cheaters and whatnot. Although a little reference to the forum would've done, which I agree on. But I don't think you could call it abuse in any way.

As for the caps, as far as I know, it IS in the rules. Just checked, seems it isn't in the rules indeed. Odd, as imo it should be. It's not a great offence, but it can get rather annoying when one uses it over and over.

I hope you're not too 'angry' about what happened, as it's just a small thing.

I appreciate the reply. However, I think you should please read the logs and see what was said. Also, I did not use caps over and over. I used it twice i believe. The first time was merely an accident. Also, the first time I was not using it while talking to another player, therefore, was not being disrespectful. Moreover, I have seen many other players use CAPS on the server before and after the incident. I would appreciate it, if this had been enforced with other players as well. Since others had done it and were not repremanded or ingnored, how was I to know that it was an offense? A good moderator would know, it doesnt take but a second to type something along the lines of, dont use caps, or please dont use caps.

I am not angry, simply disappointed with this particular moderator. Its not that this was too "small of an issue" for him, because he was busy making smart aleck replies when I was requesting help. If he was too busy, then he shouldnt have replied at all.

Other people get muted for caps as well. You, as a player, don't get a message saying that someone gets muted. But I can assure you, everyone is treated equally.

As for the part about Cyrix404, I looked it up and:

Well, thats funny, you only posted a SMALL portion of the conversation. And not the portion I have  been referring to.
