No it isn't pointless. Drinking may or may not raise your health, you will have to see. There is a point to it, wait and see when 2.90 is released.

What's the point of racing? That's the point of derbies? What's the point of playing LVP?

Because it's fun. Not everything we do has to have a 'point' -- and what you've previewed in those screenshots is just the tip of the ice burg -- we have loads of ideas, including lots to improve the drinking system alone.
