When a player connects, if his ip isnt in his normal ip range, the player should b kicked, so it prevents someone hax ppls accounts. It might look exagerate, but a perm ban isnt nais

I don't really get it. Hacking into your account? You'll need the password.
And, some people have several ranges.. we need to check for all those registered players? For all of those we have to add ranges..

And, what has a permban to do with this?

i mean, if someone hack your account, and cheat, if he is banned, you get permban. For example this evening i was in IRC and Tom was changing his name to [SaW]Tom and he accidentally wrote !msg instead of /msg and a lot of ppl saw his pass. plus some ppl have easy passwords like their country, their last name, their name, the name of their favorite singer. If someone logins with a dif ip, it should just kick him not ban.

my ip is 190.99.245.169, if someone with ip 200. or 85. or w/e joined in ma acc, it should kick him

If you have an easy pass, blame yourself. If you make a mistake on IRC with changing name, blame yourself, change your pass right after.

Lol, just reading one little thing from a file and checking it with the IP of the player is nothing. Although file reading has been proven to be slow in certain circumstances, but not in this case.

With people having a dynamic IP: You should read better, it says range! If you have a very dynamic IP, you suck.

Actually at the time of posting it was 190.99.232.206, but whatever.

I'd like to also note that I'd like the freedom to be able to log onto my LVP account from away from home -- such as at my girlfriend's house.

Let me also add: how the fuck do you hack an LVP user account? You get kicked after 3 tries! Someone would have to get the password out of you -- which would be your fault anyway if they abused that.

I'm for a no, from both a development point of view (pointless server load, eventhough not that much), and from a general view it's simply daft.
