A few things

1)  I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting really tired of people hanging out right outside the ship waiting to shoot people as soon as they get off.. often with no armor.   As you all know, once you jump off the ship it sometimes takes a few seconds to get control of your weapons.  My idea:  you know how when you first spawn, your health bar blinks and you can't get killed?  Maybe this should happen while you're on the ship and for the first few seconds when you get off.  This would also eliminate ship killing.

2)  PLEASE add a few Dodos (picture: http://img390.imageshack.us/img390/8902/...r5aqz4.jpg)!  Why?  Because for one, it's a two-seater plane.  It's also very fun to fly, small, and easy to control.  Back before SA-MP, I used to play GTA Rumble which was the same sort of thing.. and Dodos were always my favorites.  I can't beg enough for these.. this is the only server I play in and it would be insanely cool to have a few scattered around.  I've been asking for these for a year.. and even talked to Peter about it once several months ago.. but I don't think he knew what plane it was I was talking about.

3)  Trustees.  When there are no admins/mods in the server (which is thankfully not very often), members who are trusted by the admins automatically get temporary moderation powers until full-time admin/mod comes in.  Just enough to be able to kick out a minigunner or someone throwing around racial slurs.  It seems like whenever there's no admin, everybody starts causing trouble.. and the report features supposedly only works when there is an admin present.  Not necessary really, just a thought.



1 and 3 could be used in LVP 3.0.. my most important request is for Dodos.

1) This is a good idea, however it's always safer to /taxi or /tp off of the ship.

2) I really don't like these. We have a 2-seater, but it's the clunky, dumb Beagle. The Dodos aren't much better, but they'd be a nice replacement.

3) I don't see the problem here. That's the minimum amount of coverage which needs to happen, and if it's getting done, there's really nothing wrong.

Actually, some of us admins ( *looks at self* ) like to hang around IRC quite often. Usually I check admin chat for reports, which works regardless or not an admin is ingame. So Its always better to report a  cheater, than to do nothing, or scream it in main chat ( then the cheater will leave, or stop using the cheats).  So, if you ever see a cheater, just report it, doesn't matter if there are admins ingame or not, chances are, an admin might be there.

Thanks for the heads up.  But to be perfectly honest, in my 200+ hours playing on the server and countless reports, I've never once seen an admin jump on the server and take care of a report when no one else was around to do it.  But again, it's not that big of a deal because there's usually an admin around.  I just figured I'd throw the idea out there.


And, about the Dodos.. would a donation get one or two in the server?

The reason you don't see it: We may have missed it(our chat goes pretty fast with all the messages) or we come in undercover so that no one notices(cheaters or the report bug abuser). If we would join with our regular name, they would stop(at least the bug abusers will as they know us mostly).

The dodo's: I'm afraid not, try talking to Jay Even though I doubt it would happen as he stated several times that the vehicles won't change any soon.
