Greetings and salutations, my fellow players!

Due to the sheer amount of variables that are possible, ranging from bugs and synchronisation issues to unseen command usage and interference by an administrator (not to mention the transitory nature of bans), Las Venturas Playground DOES ban players based off video evidence recorded by players. But the evidence is ONLY accepted when it's very clear abusing or cheating. Anything even slightly possible to be caused by desync (like health hacks) is not accepted.

Please note that we still want you to report your suspicions! However, please do so using /report [player] [reason] while in-game! Reports are visible to crew members via IRC, so reporting when you think there are no administrators online is still highly recommended!

Thank you for your time in reading!

Hi all,

I've noticed two patterns in complaints lately that I feel need some attention.

Firstly, there are various claims of another player abusing their rights. While you may very well perceive this, it's important to realise that one must be breaking rules in order to commit abuse. This rarely is straightforward, for instance, administrators follow a guide as opposed to defined rules, making it very hard to abuse in the conventional sense of that word.

Instead, please just objectively state (1) what you observed, (2) how that impacted you, and (3) what you would have liked to see instead.

Secondly, sometimes people suggest consequences or punishments in their complaints. Please don't do this. In the cases where a complaint is deemed valid, the Management will consider many more aspects which you can't know about: player history, our previous interactions with them, consequences imposed by similar offences, and so on.

Instead, please trust us to do the right thing. If you're unhappy with the outcome, you're most welcome to contact the Management member making the call, or another Management member if you'd like to escalate this further.

Thank you,

Hello,

Whilst most issues can be handled in-game or via IRC, this dedicated Complaints section is designed to report, and resolve, issues between players and other players, or players and crew members. There are no specific requirements that define a complaint -- it can be anything from excessive foul language to crew members using their rights as an unfair advantage. Essentially, anything relevant to Las Venturas Playground that you take a disliking to can be reported here, with the exception of game mode bugs or issues, which can be reported here.

Only the topic author & crew member(s) involved are able to reply to topics in this section, along with any member of the management team.

Please ensure that you supply as much information as possible, such as: the people involved, time and date, along with a description of what happened.

Note: If a crew member requests additional information and no response is made within 7 days, the thread will be archived. You may hit the "Report" button next to your post to get it re-opened.

We aim to respond to all complaints within 24 hours.

As an alternative to creating a complaint in this publicly visible forum section, such messages can also be sent directly to the Las Venturas Playground Crew Manager, Joe.
