They weren't all CTs, infact one of them asked what CT stood for. 
And no you weren't outnumbered for the most part.

There was a few CT and a few other randoms like [Sw] (who kept switching from CT to BA). I think for CT to have a chance they need a tag and more organization. HaZe has a point, CT used to get hammered in the old days.
