Oh man I do find it a bit ignorant. First of all since we are living in an extremely digital musical era, the instrumental side basically survives thanks to the electronic support. Secondly I can't even comment how wrong it is to think that producing electronic music doesn't require any skill, there are still tons of producers out there whose sound engineering skills are out of this world and those are the people pushing the boundaries of the musical spectrum by creating fusions of various genres at the same time discovering and improving new soundscapes...it's fair to call some of them scientists of sound really. And I am not talking about the crap you can hear on MTV and such. By the way don't take it as I am a truehead electronic music listener, I'm not, I am opened to all the genres because I know there is quality in each of them, you just have to find it.
