9/11 was sad.  However, every explanation IS to this DAY a conspiracy theory.  The U.S. Governments' explanation is, in essence, a conspiracy theory.  To this day, The F.B.I. has no hard evidence linking Bin Laden to 9/11.  And every piece of the "official" story falls apart when held to the evidence.  The guys who supposedly did it (6 of them were reported to still be alive) weren't devoted enough to their religion to be suicide fanatics as they roomed with FBI before the event and were reported at strip clubs and bars (heavy sins in Islam) before it as well.  The buildings couldn't have possibly came down from the fires or the planes hitting them because the designers made it to withstand at least (very confidently) two 707s (the planes that hit were lighter 767s) and not collapse.  Also, the fires were reported out before the collapse or, at very most, there were small isolated pockets.  The fire, regardless, wouldn't have brought down the towers because jetfuel, which burnt up 20 minutes after each respected impact, cannot melt the steel used in those buildings.  The steel was tested to withstand 3000+ degree fires before softening any, way beyond what jetfuel burns at (not even 2000 degrees).  Plus, the collapses happened at near freefall speed and had the clear signs of controlled demolition.  On top of all that, there was molten steel at ground zero for at least a month after 9/11. 

Yes, this did take place 7 years ago almost, but just like any crime, time doesn't take away the fact that it happened and that the criminals are still un-apprehended.  Bin Laden has been dead since Dec. 2001 (various reportings) and he never even bragged about it, which Isamic terrorists usually do or else it is pointless in them doing it.  Also, the planes never should have hit the towers.  NORAD, America's Air Defense Network, should have shot down the planes the moment they broke communication and shut off their transponders.  Tons of commercial and private aircraft got jets scrambled to their location before 9/11 for simply veering off course (Golfer Payne Stewart for one).  It is standard NORAD procedure to intercept off-course aircraft.  So someone high up must have ordered not to shoot.
