Suspected Reason: Shotgun cheat?

My room-mate (Tex_Dobbs) and I were playing and everything was cool and then suddenly I saw that he got banned for something related to a shotgun and then I was banned immediately afterwards and didn't even see a reason.
I am thinking that we may have both been using the shotgun at that time and the system auto banned us???
This is kind of a bummer as I would never cheat on any multi player game and I really enjoy playing on this server. I hope this was an auto ban and not an admin kicking me because he thinks I'm a jackass.
