We're trying to be as independent of any technologies as we can be.. Nothing to do with the so called awesomeness of linux. They are just trying to be independant. Plus lets not forget these ppl will try to save as much money as they can. Since when were stock brokers moral people? But lets not go there

So the Iranian government decided to ditch MS over AMD. It decided to ditch an organisation highly political in order to continue to maintain its infrastructure. Not because Linux was so damn good.
Linux was chosen as the platform for the work because of its growing success and open development environment. Not because it was so damn good.
U mean a war torn country with very high level of poverty has decided to use linux because it was so damn good? I mean lets forget the fact that this country cannot even provide food to its own people and you want them to pay liscence fees for 1000s and more computer? Ok. Like i said, linux is a poor man's computer. South korea is poor. very poor.
Basically, none of the links suggest that linux was chosen because it was superior as some have clamied in this thread. Infact, they agree with what i have been saying all along. Maybe next time, you should concentrate more on finding links that actually support ur claim and less time on photoshop, or whatever is the cheap alternative of photoshop is avaibale in linux/unix/trash-can-OS
