Yea because no one will every say that. Linux is a free and open OS. That does not make it any better than XP. You take away the finacial constraints when choosing between XP and any hobo OS and XP will stomp all over any other OS. The articles u gave me proved that. Just look at the reasons being given for choosing linux. ITs either money or the open nature of the OS. That does not in any way mean that linux is better than XP.

You can ask me and ill just point you to the poll in this thread. There is no bias here. SAMP comes in both linux and Windows. Both client and server. Yet...

Not at all. I said linux is like a hobo willing to do it for free. Hobos are cool... because they do it for free. I just wont hire a hobo to be my lawyer or teacher or artist or any position of importance and value. So Nasa choose linux.. big deal. They needed an OS which they could modify for their own needs. If MS was allowed to make a free open source OS, they would bin linux in a heartbeat and go for the MS's OS. But then again, MS CANT make a free OS becoz of fair trading laws. They would be taken to court and accussed of trying to have a monopoly on the market. All i am saying, linux wasnt choosen for its superior performance or whatever u claim is the case. It was simply chosen becoz of the open source and it doesnt cost money. You cannot really expect MS to give Nasa the source code to XP just becoz they asked nicely.

Its the world we live in. Nothing good comes for free. You get what you pay for. What dont you understand about that?
