"On January 7, 2008, a report on Xbox Evolved indicated that an agreement had been made between Microsoft and Activision to allow the release of Goldeneye 007, complete with updated graphics, and Xbox Live multiplayer to the Xbox Live Arcade along with other Rare games from their back-catalog.[44] On January 11, 2008, 1UP.com elaborated that the "GoldenEye port has been in development at Rare for several months, and was never intended as a remake". They also noted that the title would not get released on Xbox Live Arcade since "Microsoft and Nintendo couldn't agree on the financial side of things."

I hope it'll be released on other than the Xbox... I have no intention of getting one, but this is the kind of game that can cause me to waste my money on one just to be able to play it.
