That actually isn't my whole point. But who goes to Liberty City these days? I mean if you put the tree there now people will take a look but soon forget about it (and most people wouldnt know it is or was there) the point about the ship is that it will be seen and so the purpose will not be entirely pointless.

Agreed. Its easier to notice if you don't even know the tree, it will be seen for everyone if its near the ship.
