/regular options are broken?

For some wacky reason, I can't change regular player-options with /regular. I am a regular, but upon typing said command, the server replies with a condescending yet annoying "You need -224 more hours before you become a regular!"

And I am in a different world, not in the regular server.
Something that confuses me, however, is that the regular options are ON. Look at the clock.
Any explanation for this?
