I see your point, but I wouldn't call it a 'forbidden way' of picking up the bike. Let's say a player ramps on a bike and then falls. Would we always expect them to pick it back up without canceling the animation? I'd say no, because it doesn't really cause any harm and is efficient.
Fake car entry is forbidden for the sole reason that it prevents a player from taking damage when they are supposed to. This wasn't the case during your fight with Sleep. He tried to set up some cover by picking the bikeĀ up instead of trying to avoid any damage in the process (fake car entry), so I don't think it warrants any action.
I admit these are very tricky situations and it's impossible to have guidelines for every scenario, but I think a ban would be highly unreasonable.
