Hi Sand, Diablo,
I have a few thoughts about this complaint.
First of all, suicide by self-nading indeed is not allowed, and cake has since implemented measures to prevent this from happening. As such, this hopefully becomes a problem of the past!

What I notice in Diablo's post is that he mentions that self-nading is not allowed as far as he's aware. Diablo, please consult with your fellow administrators when in doubt, otherwise it's very difficult to maintain a consistent policy.
I personally don't see why people would use commands to avoid death. Maybe an effective manner of dealing with that would be to punish them with an additional ten kills when using /q for these purposes. If it's about loss of face, you already lost that battle when you decided to /q.
Summarizing - administrators should consult among each other when in doubt, and try to communicate the reason of a mute or jail effectively. Players should never be left in doubt as to why they're in jail.
Thanks,
Russell
