I think retiring the beta team would be a good way to streamline some of the unnecessary hierarchy. As Russell pointed out, the dev channel is open to anyone, and the community at large should be able to help the developers with beta testing if they desire.... there's nothing that we need to hide in beta testing.
Sophia is a nice guy, and has indeed been helpful to the community. But again, I side with Russell on this note.
I feel that the current holders of Appreciation Awards have really earned them, and deserve to be holders. This is something that should indefinitely be kept "special", so few and far between. I dont think we need to have a monthly quota for nomination or anything of the sort.... as people really earn them, they should be nominated. I agree with FateTrip, and I would also like to suggest Mark, as he has spent a tremendous amount of time and effort into fully (and independently) managing LVP Radio. For the amount of work he has put into it, he undoubtedly deserves some proper recognition.
