The reason that we ask for it, is that admins cannot see your IP on the forum. And even if they could, you could be posting it from your phone or anywhere else but where you got banned from.
We could change it so you can PM your IP to the crew member replying to your appeal, but that severely slow down the process.
Do you perhaps have any suggestions?
