1.8 and the map.

I swear we share the same mind. I have been thinking about a new map the past two days. Our map is nearing 900mb, and I'm starting to become sick of the haxxed materials. I'd love to start 100% new, but we will piss off (and probably loose) a lot of players by doing this. Copying things for players could be an option indeed. When 1.8 comes out, what I would like to do is wait until Bukkit has a stable release and take the server down for maybe an hour. Then, move the current world to a secondary world, and use a completely new map as the default. Maybe have no build rights in the old map, and allow players to request only their most important stuff to the new world. Maybe we could ask the rest of the community? But yeah, I'd like a new map.
