I think it's fairly obvious what happened here.
The Illuminati have been playing too many video games- particularly Minecraft.
When their anger over those fucking creepers destroying their houses met with their disdain for mainstream music, they brainwashed poor Billy here into making his own explosives and planning to set it off in a school.
