Problem: Graphics card will randomly crash after successful start up
Temporary Solution: Unplug wi-fi card antenna no longer works
OK. So I am having a problem with my computer. Every now and then, the entire computer will freeze, and nothing on screen will respond. Ctrl+Alt+Del, or Ctrl+Shift+Esc do nothing. For some reason, if I unscrew the antenna from my wireless adapter, the computer will recover, and there will be an error message that the display driver stopped working, but recovered. I did overclock my GPU, but this was a long time ago. This problem happens at random time intervals, and seems to have no pattern. It has happened once while I was playing a game, but also happened many times just surfing the internet.
I updated my GPU driver, but the crash has still happened. So it seems like the possibilities are probablly GPU failure, Network Adapter Failure, PSU Failure. I have no spare parts that I can swap in, so I was wondering what's wrong. Also worth mentioning, I have RIVA tuner for better thermal management of the graphics card, and it never exceds 70 Celsius.
Asus P5K (no on-board graphics)
Intel e4800
BFG 8800 GTS OCed
8 GB misc. RAM
.5, 1, 1.5 TB HDD
Windows 7x64
