They don't have to be expensive, or well, not thát expensive. I bought my current card (4850) for 200 euros well over a year ago, and so far it hasn't had any problems running any game at all. By the time I need a new video card I'll just buy something along the same price range

I bought my 4850 for 105 Euros about 3-4 months ago. It's brilliant .

I don't know much about what the GTX 480 is capable of, but I'm sure both cards could run any game on the market at the moment.
