If you want a new name, you can ask us to change your name. do it yourself!
All your current stats are saved, so you won't loose them.
So, there is no need to create a new account, we you can just rename it!
You MUST join IRC to do this. You can use the web based client if you want.
Once you are connected to one of the GTANet IRC servers, you can join #LVP (/join #LVP) to chat a little bit, or send a PM to Nuwani directly to change your password. (Nuwani is our main IRC bot, other official LVP bots are all named in N*w*n* style.)
The PM to Nuwani must met the following condition: !changenick OldNick Pass NewNick
To send a PM directly, use:
/msg Nuwani !changenick Current_Nickname Current_Password New_Nickname
Nuwani will now send you a PM back, if the account rename was successful or not.
Nickname or password incorrect.
Info: That nickname is already in use.
Info: You are not allowed to change your nickname anymore. Consider donating to LVP.

It can fail by a few causes: Your username/password didn't match, you are out of nick changes, or the user already excists.
Conditions for nick changes:
- 5 Free nick changes. Consider donating if you need more/unlimited nick changes.
- 7 Days between nick changes
So, next time if you ask for a nick change... be careful what you wish.
We won't overrule this 5 nick change limit manually, so if you have changed your nick 5 times, donate to LVP, or create a new nickname and loose all your player data.
If, however, some Admin changed your nick manually, and its over 5 nick changes, we have the right to revert this.
If you still need some help, or you are unable to join IRC, you may open a topic.
Before you ask us to change your name manually, we need to be sure that you are the owner of the account.
Please link your account to your forum account first.
When this is done successfully, we are sure that you are the real account owner.
Also, don't forget to change your nickname in the SA-MP client.
