Silencers drop damage output quite dramatically. (from 40-30 to 40-20) And, for some reason using a Red Dot Sight on that weapon has the same effect, so I suggest you either use an ACOG or just use the ironsights.

I don't think it does drop it on all guns. And are you sure on the RDS there? I never really noticed anything with that. Although they die easier with ACOG sometimes(it seems).

@Matthias: Learn to use a real sniper, like the M40a3 or the R700. The others are just used for spamming. Especially the 50cal. The others are used fine unless it's a noob shooting it. Which is most of the time, actually.
