It's a shame, I had some faith in France, but after the first match it was evident they wouldn't get too far. Henry as a sub, the only one who ocassionally made good moves was Franck Ribéry, but not good enough. México did great anyway. It's a shame Zidane retired from football back in 2006. If he, along with the rest of the team that played in Germany 2006 had been present in this selection, the story would've been quite different for sure. Now mexicanos have a good reason to celebrate, this is the first time in history México defeats French selection in an official match.
Right now, ONLY chance for France to classify is that either Uruguay or México lose in their next match, and France must defeat South Africa by at least a 4 goals difference. Seems like an impossible mission to me.
