Sorry for the multi posting, my phone doesn't like big posts...can an Admin merge this with that and edit this bit out, please?
Anyway...there could be some truth to that but the way the paper put it, it made me lol.
Did they not think that the ship could of gone out of reach or it went through a magnetic field that knocked the signal out and it got it back when it got out? That could also be why it sent weird transmissions back instead of some generous alien mechanic?
