Design A Condom?

Why do they create a contest to design a new package for a condom? You throw away the package anyway, never even looked at it for more then a second.

I always wonder the same about sweet wrappers, especially really tiny ones like in a celebrations box. You don't care about the wrapper, just know if it's a bounty or not. If it's a new brand it's understandable because they need to catch people's eyes but other than that, no need.
