Though I understand that people in the main chat might possibly get offended, I didn't realize that it was an issue for a black man to use the n-word in a private conversation with his brother.

On the Internet we have absolutely no idea what ethnicity someone may be, so don't pull that bullshit excuse again. However, terms such as "nigga" are allowed in PM (i.e., the "/pm" function) when not used offensively.
