Dunno exactly why he used 2 file inclusions, since nobody else used that so far.
His code looks fine, comments at the right places, indentation is ok.
And his explanation about the code is also great, and fair about part 3. Maybe he didn't find the right way on how to do it in this short time. Maybe he never used something like this before so I can imagine that it can be a lot of work to figure it out and think about all the stuff.
