But Firm wouldn't, as he's still pretty new (about 5 months new at least). And so he should test everyone, no exceptions. And that way he gets a good idea of what his members are like when he recruits them.
Yeah, I know I post too much, but ehh, sue me. So:

I think this counts as documented evidence/proof that the two fighters mentioned are good. I also know that Firm is good.
I'm just trying to get my head around the idea. So far it seems to be people that Firm thinks are good based on an arbitrary assesment of skills by himself. Fair enough. I'm not sure how qualified someone who doesn't know how good the reputedly best player/players in LVP are, is to judge who is good or not, but no big deal.
I do think beating Firm in a first to five would have been a sounder scale because given that Firm is good, then being able to beat him must mean you are good also. Please note that last time I fought him a week or so ago, he beat me quite soundly, so I'm not making any comment about myself being good or not here; and I'm not going to apply for this; but I would have been happier submitting to a first to five test rather, being more objective and less subjective to arbitrary personal opinion of Firm or his mood that day towards you or in general.
And yes, I agree that testing everyone regardless of reputation is a good idea, but I don't think the test intended would be very objective.
