cloakster is right, the HDD seems to be an old one.
By the way, i wouldnt buy a Seagate HDD now. A lot of Seagate HDDs crash after ~8 weeks, and thats true. Its a current news that Seagate brings a lot of new HDD bios' to repair the still-working ones.
I recommend you a Western Digital Caviar Series with 640GB (better than a 750GB, a lil faster)
there are three series:
Caviar Green - 16MB Cache, 5400rpm, not as fast as the other series but quiet and less power consumption
Caviar Blue - 16MB Cache, 7200rpm, very fast
Caviar Black - 32MB Cache, 7200rpm, same as Blue just with 32mb cache
