Thats a good point, but starting a new forum and getting it as popular as this one is hard and requires a lot of effort, and chances are if we put in the effort required we still wouldn't reach as much of the targeted audience as we do now.
If we do want to post whatever stuff we can't post here, we'd use irc and chat to each other live (although even then there's no posting porn or whatever*).
Basically the things that were going on in the HC4L thread are as offtopic as the SaW thread at the moment, and most of the times, B&A threads and to a slightly lesser extent, the W thread.
The main argument is against the thread being locked for going "offtopic" (where 80% of the entire forum is offtopic at least), not for posting anything highly inappropriate. Just a load of fun.
*Apart from Gang_Lord posting the occasional softcore of himself...
