No it hasn't. In the past it was reported that the players ammo changed but it didn't always result in the player not getting their weapons back.
By any chance when this bug happened, was there over 150 players ingame? There appear to be some issues that we are trying to resolve which is effecting a lot of things in general, especially in relation to weapons.
