i think the reason is needed! most of the time you might forget why you muted them :x or the admin who muted them leaves, or times. It should just be optional, its when you do /muted the reason would show up next to the player name..

Forget why you muted someone? Short memory? It's 2 mins ago maybe(if it's more, it means you muted him/her more then once and should know, usually for non-English).
Leaving / timing doesn't happen very often but then again, they'll probably rejoin or say in .echo that they timed > if the muted person asks, they see it in adminchat and should reply as they muted him/her.
