How did you get into LVP?</b><br/> <i>Thanks. A friend from school dragged me into this. He was playing it online and told me about it, we started playing together on a server named Dallas Official’, which was an official server at the time, hence the name. Later on he played less and less and I started looking for other servers I found LVP and started playing, I liked it a lot and remained playing there until this very moment.</i><br/><br/><b>What makes you giving so much effort into LVP and it's community?</b><br/><i>Well, I like the server and the community, I like spending quite a big part of my free time there. It's a nice environment. I enjoy helping people and keeping the server clean. Also having fun besides helping people out, of course.</i><br/><br/><b>It looks like LVP has it's up and downs, it got added and removed from the official list for a few times. Did the player amount drop noticeable?</b><br/><i>Yeah, definitely. If a server is on the official list, it gets a lot of new visitors, daily. I mean, if you're new, you check the official list, it has the best / most crowded servers.So the new people go there first. But LVP has over 40.000 registered users so we have a pretty big community.</i><br/><br/><b>What about the cheater amount?</b><br/><i>That also raises with being official, the cheaters also join the official servers.</i><br/><br/><b>Hehe, atleast we got something positive with LVP not being on the official serverlist anymore. What do you think about LVP's future? How long will the community last?</b><br/><i>Long, very long. With the move to MTA we attract new players and we take old players along, so it'll eventually grow even bigger, I think.</i><br/><br/><b>Talking about MTA, how far is the development compared to the current version of LVP on sa-mp?</b><br/><i>I have no idea, only the developers know that. But I don't know if they can give you a percentage or anything, I doubt if they can.</i><br/><br/><b>Oh, okay. You've a very weird name, "estroe", where did you get it from?</b><br/><i>That's something that I can't really answer well, I had to think of a name but didn't know anything.. So I just came up with this, no real reason or something behind it. I found out about this ‘DJ estroe’. That isn’t me. Zezima says I took my name from the DJ but I found out after I created the name (way later). I used the name on the game Diablo II before I started playing SA-MP. Which is more then 2 years ago.</i><br/><br/><b>There are people complaining about getting kicked for their high pings. Can you explain why they get kicked?</b><br/><i>Well, take [W]Maddolis for example, he has ~400 ping and lives in Australia. That is like, the other side of the world for where the server is hosted. We usually kick for 500+ pings. So, higher than that isn't needed. It's people downloading or something.</i><br/><br/><b>What exactly is LVP about? And what's making it so popular?</b><br/><i>It's not exactly about one thing really, it's more of the total picture. LVP is attractive for both RP'ers and DM'ers. The server is a freeroam server which attracts both sides, it seems. Such things as a new GUI for Ammu-Nation to make buying weapons a little easier. The ability to buy a virtual world and make it password protected, along with a few other "world admin" features. For now we have a basic weather system that can smoothly blend two types of weather together. No more getting smacked sandstorm style without notice. How did you get into LVP?</b><br/> <i>Thanks. A friend from school dragged me into this. He was playing it online and told me about it, we started playing together on a server named Dallas Official’, which was an official server at the time, hence the name. Later on he played less and less and I started looking for other servers I found LVP and started playing, I liked it a lot and remained playing there until this very moment.</i><br/><br/><b>What makes you giving so much effort into LVP and it's community?</b><br/><i>Well, I like the server and the community, I like spending quite a big part of my free time there. It's a nice environment. I enjoy helping people and keeping the server clean. Also having fun besides helping people out, of course.</i><br/><br/><b>It looks like LVP has it's up and downs, it got added and removed from the official list for a few times. Did the player amount drop noticeable?</b><br/><i>Yeah, definitely. If a server is on the official list, it gets a lot of new visitors, daily. I mean, if you're new, you check the official list, it has the best / most crowded servers.So the new people go there first. But LVP has over 40.000 registered users so we have a pretty big community.</i><br/><br/><b>What about the cheater amount?</b><br/><i>That also raises with being official, the cheaters also join the official servers.</i><br/><br/><b>Hehe, atleast we got something positive with LVP not being on the official serverlist anymore. What do you think about LVP's future? How long will the community last?</b><br/><i>Long, very long. With the move to MTA we attract new players and we take old players along, so it'll eventually grow even bigger, I think.</i><br/><br/><b>Talking about MTA, how far is the development compared to the current version of LVP on sa-mp?</b><br/><i>I have no idea, only the developers know that. But I don't know if they can give you a percentage or anything, I doubt if they can.</i><br/><br/><b>Oh, okay. You've a very weird name, "estroe", where did you get it from?</b><br/><i>That's something that I can't really answer well, I had to think of a name but didn't know anything.. So I just came up with this, no real reason or something behind it. I found out about this ‘DJ estroe’. That isn’t me. Zezima says I took my name from the DJ but I found out after I created the name (way later). I used the name on the game Diablo II before I started playing SA-MP. Which is more then 2 years ago.</i><br/><br/><b>There are people complaining about getting kicked for their high pings. Can you explain why they get kicked?</b><br/><i>Well, take [W]Maddolis for example, he has ~400 ping and lives in Australia. That is like, the other side of the world for where the server is hosted. We usually kick for 500+ pings. So, higher than that isn't needed. It's people downloading or something.</i><br/><br/><b>What exactly is LVP about? And what's making it so popular?</b><br/><i>It's not exactly about one thing really, it's more of the total picture. LVP is attractive for both RP'ers and DM'ers. The server is a freeroam server which attracts both sides, it seems.
